This achievement certifies the successful completion of the Explore Entrepreneurship, Ignite Entrepreneurship, and Launch Entrepreneurship courses. Learners have demonstrated the ability to synthesize the core concepts to define a problem and identify a solution that meets a validated need, apply the concepts to develop a strategy for the customer or user to acquire the solution, produce a plan for monetizing the solution and/or achieving financial sustainability, and justify the potential of the venture, including the execution strategy and plan to scale through the development and delivery of a pitch.

Explore Entrepreneurship

By the end of the Explore Entrepreneurship course, learners will develop their entrepreneurial mindset by learning new strategies to develop and test new ideas that address a real need. Learners spend 80 hours developing their own idea while completing training on fundamental topics of innovation and entrepreneurship, including Entrepreneurial Mindset, Systems Thinking, Design Thinking, Customer Discovery, Lean Development and MVPs, Pricing Strategies and Financial Viability, Business Model Canvas and Social Business Model Canvas, and Intellectual Property. Learners will synthesize these concepts and apply them to creating a business model canvas that articulates the key considerations for their venture idea. These concepts can be applied in learners’ entrepreneurial endeavors, or to drive innovation within the organization in which they work.
Skills
  • Define a problem and identify a solution that meets a validated need.
  • Explain the potential for a solution using customer discovery techniques.
  • Apply the core concepts to generate a business model canvas for the solution.

Ignite Entrepreneurship

By the end of Ignite Entrepreneurship course, learners will develop their entrepreneurial mindset by applying new strategies to develop a go-to-market strategy and business or financial sustainability model. Learners further develop their own idea while completing training on fundamental topics of innovation and entrepreneurship, including Roles and Responsibilities, Introduction to Financing and the Equity Waterfall, Technology Ventures, Spending a Startup, and Pitching. Learners will synthesize these concepts and apply them to develop and deliver a pitch on their venture idea. These concepts can be applied in learners’ entrepreneurial endeavors, or to drive innovation within the organization in which they work.

  • Apply the concepts to develop a strategy for the customer or user to acquire the solution.
  • Analyze and produce a plan for monetizing the solution and/or achieving financial sustainability.
  • Justify the proposed solution through the development and delivery of a pitch.

Launch Entrepreneurship

By the end of Launch Entrepreneurship, learners will develop their entrepreneurial mindset by preparing to execute on their idea and develop a plan to scale it. Learners further develop their own idea while completing training on fundamental topics of innovation and entrepreneurship, including Growing your team, Digital Privacy and Data, Procurement and Choosing the Right Business Vehicle. Learners will synthesize these concepts and apply them to develop and deliver a pitch on their venture idea. These concepts can be applied in learners’ entrepreneurial endeavors, or to drive innovation within the organization in which they work.
